Imagine Glasgow is back for 2025!

Debuted in 2015, the bi-annual exhibition calls for ambitious architecture and design ideas; imagining Glasgow of the future. Glasgow is a place where we come together to live, work and play. However, similar to other major UK cities, it has it's own issues and challenges such as climate emergency and housing crisis. What should we, the citizens of Glasgow, do to overcome these challenges?

Imagine Glasgow is an opportunity for students and graduates to showcase their ideas to the wider public. Each selected project will be given a platform to showcase their ideas directly to various communities, policy makers and professionals across Glasgow.

Submission Criteria:

• Glasgow based project (with a Gxx postcode)

• Student or graduate during the Academic Year of 2023/24 and 2024/25

Information required for the submission:

• Project Title

• Project Summary (50 words max)

• Project Description

• Project Location (full address with postcode)

• Project Key Image (5MB max; PDF or JPG)

Submission Deadline: August 1st, 2025, Friday, 2359

Ten projects will be selected to exhibit at NGS Community Space (1307 Argyle Street, G3 8TL) in late October 2025. Each exhibitor will be given a blank wall space (1m wide x 1.5m high) to pin up their works. Please note that NGS is not responsible for any cost associated with materials and transportation.

All exhibitors are invited to present their project to the public during the opening night of Imagine Glasgow. This is the perfect opportunity to interact with professionals and policymakers working in the built environment, as well as the public who are passionate about the future of Glasgow. Two best projects will be awarded during the night.
