Land Meets Sea is a collection of paintings by Alan Braidwood.

These images are all influenced by the draw of the sea. The coastline and the water has offered a way of life, employment, escape and leisure for centuries.

As much as we are drawn to it, enjoy being close to it, or even in the water itself, it takes life equally quickly.

This collection of paintings looks at the feelings and emotions when close to the edge of the land and the sea, and the conflicting feelings of freedom and fear it brings.
