A collaborative visual investigation of the changing states of the female reproductive body. Through the use of sculpture, photography, drawing and mark making the work uses abject materials, sourced directly from the body, to explore the leakiness of the female reproductive biology.
The work investigates the fragility of what sits on the borders of self and other, the subject and the object, and the inside and outside of the body. Origin seeks to explore this essential biological process, by drawing connections between the personal and the universal.
