Glasgow Glasgow - Outtake 2010 (Ashton Lane)

Camera Phone footage shot over a year ago, originally intended to be used for a series of video-blogs, a project shelved due to a multitude of other commitments.

These could aptly be described as the visual documentation of two part-time vagabonds on a sub-zero budget, traversing the perilous topography of Western Scotland, armed only with wit, optimistic cynicism and one temperamental mobile phone Camera.

I would invite you to throw off your critical analysis cap, discard all notions of cinematic sensibility and make some allowances for the lack of equipment and resources at our disposal. Despite the glaringly obvious flaws and rough-about-the-edges, incomplete feel to the piece, I hope that the end result holds true to the spirit of amateur vlogging in capturing the spontaneity of 'the moment' and with any luck will provoke and provide some food for thought.
