NLP Theatre Company was set up in 2005 by Artistic Director Scott Kyle, Scott set up the company with the intention of making a positive contribution to the arts industry in Scotland. Scott`s intention is to increase the amount of people attending theatre throughout Scotland, and to ensure that new audiences enjoy their night out at the theatre. NLP`s production of SINGIN` I`M NO A BILLY, HE`S A TIM has become Scottish Theatre`s biggest success story of recent times, 75% of the people who came to see the Billy & Tim show had never been to theatre before. In 2010 Scott Kyle won The Stage "Best Actor Award" for his performance as Billy in the show. In 2010 NLP produced our very first Panto "CINDERELLA" at Rutherglen Town Hall setting "NEW SALES RECORDS" for the venue, we are now looking forward to producing "ALADDIN" in 2011. Our aim is to continue to develop audiences and create a community within NLP, to enable actors, directors and producers to work together and fast track productions into theatres.
