Event Description
This year’s trip combines a rail journey to Edinburgh, via the newly restored section of line from Airdrie to Bathgate, with a visit to the National Museum of Scotland in Chambers St.
OUTWARD
Buy a Return Ticket from Glasgow to Edinburgh.
Be at QUEEN STREET LOW LEVEL STATION Platform 9 (Eastbound)
in time for the 11:57 train to Edinburgh.
Arrival at the Museum will be about 13:30 after a short walk from Waverley Station.
Free Entry.
RETURN
Depart the Museum at 15:15.
Train leaves Waverley at 15:56 for GLASGOW CENTRAL.
Debrief under the station clock 17:10, then retire to bar.Comment Wall
