Event Description
Following the introduction tour this is the first in a series which will look at how Glasgow developed into the city we know.
Wealthy Glaswegians didn't always move west, but as phases of residential development spread the city outwards the money tended to go upwind of the industrial city.
This walk will look at the architecture, remember some of the residents and recall the part NGS played in saving the road from development.
The walk is due to start at 2pm, but meet inside from 1.30 for a chat about what we're going to look at once we start.
